JSC “Comstar – United TeleSystems”, major operator of integrated telecommunication services in Russia, announces that Northwest branch JSC “Comstar Regions” (JSC “Comstar – UTS” 100% affiliate company) and the INTELVISION company, system integrator in field building automation and engineering, signed an agreement about a strategic partnership in area of development an energy-efficient buildings with intelligent management control of all engineering and information systems.

Under the partner agreement the companies will work at a collective development and realization of “Intelligent Buildings” projects. The “Intelligent Building” concept is development in large office installations and urban infrastructure buildings a common automated control system with a full range of communications and engineering systems for data communication, telephony, broadband Internet, integrated security systems, electro-distribution, energy efficiency and etc. This way allows creating a building with a new level of comfort, security, efficient resources usage, reduced expenses for reparation and maintenance. In real-time mode a status of all systems in a building is controlled and possible faults are allocated in advance; this guarantees a security, reliability and a high quality of all communications in a building.
